I agree with everything you said. I’m also very excited to hear the remastered versions of Kate’s early albums – especially The Dreaming, as it’s a personal favourite of mine. I probably would have been a little wary of this remastering master-plan if we didn’t already have a prior example with the 2011 version of The Red Shoes. It’s gorgeous how it was elevated to a whole new level. This is something I never expected to see in my lifetime, and I’m even willing to let all the digipak packaging slide.
It’s nice to see there’s at least one person out there who’s just as excited about this as I am.

I’ve always defended Kate Bush but these box sets are nothing more than a rip-off. She seriously expects people to fork out £90 for 4 pieces of black plastic with a load of old b-sides and 12 inch mixes on them, or £96 for a box set of albums from Aerial onward, none of which needed remastering, just to get the same thing on 4 extra CD’s? There are loads of songs missing and they would fit onto 3 discs. No wonder people bootleg music. She could have put out a 3 CD set of rare tracks as an album on its own and not charged nearly as much-people would buy it their droves.

Thing is, you do not have to purchase them, its a choice you have as a consumer ? The sets look wonderful, especially the CD box sets. I am sure the prices will decline before the release date is here.
