As a consequence of Laura Bunting performing Wuthering Heights on ‘The Voice Australia’, Kate’s original recording of the track has re-entered the Australian Top 40 singles chart at no.39.

Does she make money with that? I mean a lot of people have downloaded her songs lately because of the TV performances, does she still make money even with old songs?

It’s so nice to see other generations being made aware of Kate’s great songs. It’s been years since I’ve seen her songs in the charts here in Australia, although I know that the album ‘Aerial’ did very well in terms of sales.

I believe she does make money from downloaded songs, Natan. I may be wrong, but as a songwriter, she gets a cut of the pie every time.
